Rear Drum Brake

SAFETY FIRST: Protective gloves and eyewear are recommended at this point.

Disassembly

Remove the rear wheel, and lift the brake panel off of the right side of the hub. See the Rear Wheel topic for more information.

 

 

Pull the camshaft out of the panel from the inside.

 

Remove the O-ring from the brake panel and discard it. It should always be replaced with a new O-ring once it has been removed.
